How it Works

Every client will receive a 1-hour initial assessment that will include:

  • Thorough review of health and exercise history

  • Discussion of all goals and potential barriers

  • Full movement screen (see details below)

All the information gathered at your initial visit is utilized formulate an individualized program tailored to meet your goals.

The Movement Screen

Each client will undergo a full-body movement screen at their initial appointment that is appropriate for that individual. The movement screen consists of:

  • Biomechanic assessments of functional and/or sport-specific movements

  • Mobility assessments of each joint

  • Strength/stability assessments of all major and applicable muscle groups

This information will give insight to any biomechanic, mobility, strength, stability, and/or coordination deficits that we will need to address via your programming to help you achieve your goals.

What can I help you with?

  • Strength & Muscle Gains

  • Nagging pains/injuries

  • Power & Athletic Performance

  • Mobility & Functional Movement

My Methodology

  • Post-Rehab Return to Performance

  • Longevity & Injury Prevention

  • Fat Loss & Aesthetic Goals

  • Confidence in Lifting & Movement

With a background in physical therapy, I take a root-cause approach to personal training by assessing how your body moves as a whole system—not just isolated parts. I focus on biomechanics and the body's movement systems to identify the underlying patterns that may be contributing to pain or limiting performance.

Every body is unique, but many people share common compensations—like restricted mobility or muscle imbalances—that lead to inefficient movement and, ultimately, injury or plateaus. The body doesn’t function in silos; it’s more like a chain, where each link affects the next. If one link is weak or restricted, the rest of the system must adapt—often in ways that create dysfunction elsewhere.

For example, I often work with clients who have low back pain. Traditional trainers or clinicians might suggest avoiding painful movements or prescribe generic stretches without exploring the bigger picture. But in many cases, the true culprits are deeper: poor hip mobility, core instability, or limited movement in the rib cage and thoracic spine. If these areas aren’t addressed, the pain tends to persist or return.

During your initial assessment, I conduct a detailed movement screen to uncover these root issues. From there, we’ll build a personalized program designed specifically for your body and your goals—one that doesn’t just treat symptoms, but improves how you move, feel, and perform long-term.
